Large, Hand-carved Teak Medallion

This is a large commissioned piece, intricately hand-carved in Bali, Indonesia. Formed from several carved teak panels, joined together, the teak has been stained to give the artwork the appearance of being carved from a single piece of wood. An impressive display which needs a large wall to be appreciated.
